Things I love #11: Journal cover

This journal was given to me for my 14th birthday. My sister-in-law gave it to me and wrote such lovely inscriptions inside the front cover:

“The world is but canvas to our imagination.”

“May you fill this book with poems, wishes, dreams.”

This is my favourite journal.

Love the colours, the gold script, the vintage vibe, and the music notes.

I’ll put this cover on my gallery wall.

Things I love #10: Lord of the Rings & Lorerunner

I love Lord of the Rings. I love film analysis.

So I love Lorerunner’s rumination analysis videos on these movies.

I like all the rumination analysis videos but my favourites are the LOTR ones since I just like listening to people talk about LOTR.

I listen to them regularly. Usually while I’m playing computer games. So relaxing.

Things I love #4: “Jireh”

Leilani introduced me to this song. Listening to it in the car for the first time, straight away I knew I liked it.

I got home and put it on. Wow! So moving. So beautiful.

The piano, the voices, the melody, the words. I’m so thankful they shared their voices, words, song.

It makes me want to write, play, and sing my own music.

My favourite lines: ‘I’ll never be more loved than I am right now’ and ‘You would cross an ocean so I wouldn’t drown.’

So good!

Things I love #3: Colourful daily practice

I love the simplicity of this daily practice.

Beautiful and delightful.

I want to give it a go as an art prompt.

I admire the artist’s passion for nature and colour.

This largely inspired my daily practice on my blog to record the things I love.

How can you turn your passion into a daily practice?
