I loved this song when Bridie, Hannah, and I went on a skate date and star gaze. This is when we have a God chat.
We prayed God would speak to us, then played worship music while we listened to him and drove to Flagstaff lookout.
We shared how God spoke to us and loved it that we all got encouraging words about light.
For me it was stars, for the others it was streetlights and a torch.
Things I love #8: Little Talks
This was one of those songs that I knew I liked as soon as I heard it.
I disocvered it earlier this year in the car. I think of it as a beach song or driving song.
I love the tune. So catchy. I love the beat. Makes me move.
Got it on repeat.
Things I love #6: This Is Me
I already loved this song and I then I loved this behind-the-scenes performance of it.
I love the emotion and the story behind it. The connection with the lyrics and how Keala lived the song she sang in this moment.
The energy in the room. The dancing. Everyone part of it together. Such a great moment.
Things I love #4: “Jireh”
Leilani introduced me to this song. Listening to it in the car for the first time, straight away I knew I liked it.
I got home and put it on. Wow! So moving. So beautiful.
The piano, the voices, the melody, the words. I’m so thankful they shared their voices, words, song.
It makes me want to write, play, and sing my own music.
My favourite lines: ‘I’ll never be more loved than I am right now’ and ‘You would cross an ocean so I wouldn’t drown.’
